ECTS Credits System

ECTS is facilitated by using the key information and documents: Course Catalogue, Student Application Form, Learning Agreement, Transcript of Records, and the Diploma Supplement. From academic year 2012-2013 ECTS credit has replaced the national credits at the LMTA.
ECTS credits are based on student‘s workload which is needed to achieve intended learning outcomes. One academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS credits , 30 ECTS credits – to one study semester. Student workload ranges from 1 500 to 1 800 hours for an academic year, and one credit corresponds to 25-30 hours of work.
