Citizens of the Republic of Lithuania, the European Union and European Economic Area member states, as well as other foreigners, who have a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania and are holders of foreign qualifications, shall be admitted to state-financed places in the order established in the rules for admission of students to the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (further referred to as Academy) in 2007. 

Persons of Lithuanian descent - citizens outside the European Union and European Economic Area member states or citizens of the Republic of Poland – after they produce a document of the Lithuanian community of their home country witnessing Lithuanian descent, shall be admitted in the order established by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania. 

Other foreigners, who were not mentioned in paragraphs 1 and 2, shall be admitted to the self-financed study place and shall pay tuition fees fixed by the Senate of the Academy.
