NOMAZZ meets the Baltics

Nomazz Meets the Baltics is a five day intensive course for the students of the joint masters programme Nordic Master in Jazz (Nomazz) and selected jazz students of the Baltic countries. It has been a unique possibility for Nordic/Baltic jazz students and teachers to mix and link different profiles, backgrounds and styles and an excellent opportunity for mutual inspiration and high-level creativity.

The course is a combination of seminars by all incoming teachers, ensemble playing in mixed groups and live performances every evening. Such international course creates additional opportunities for Nordic-Baltic jazz students and teachers for mixing and linking different styles, profiles and creative collaborations.

The first session and second session of the three-year cycle took place in Tallinn at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. The third and the final session is held in Vilnius at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre from 4 to 8 of February, 2013.
