Aušra Krasauskaitė-Berulė

Aušra Krasauskaitė-Berulė first studied at the Ballet Department of the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Art (Vilnius, Lithuania) and graduated as a professional ballet artist. She then studied in the Academy of Arts at the Klaipeda University (now — the LMTA) graduating in 2012 with a BA in Theatre and a professional qualification of a choreographer. In 2014, continuing to study at the same school, Aušra obtained her MA in Dance.
Since 2008, Aušra Krasauskaitė-Berulė has performed as a ballet soloist at the Klaipėda State Music Theatre and, besides, has closely cooperated with the Šeiko Dance Company (Klaipėda). In 2015, Aušra Krasauskaitė- Berulė joined the teaching team of the LMTA Klaipėda Faculty Department of Dance and has been teaching classical dance since then.
During her professional career, since 2008, Aušra Krasauskaitė-Berulė has appeared in more than twenty creative roles (including solo parts) in a variety of dance and interdisciplinary staged and other kinds of performances. The dancer represented Lithuania in the world exhibitions EXPO 2012 and EXPO 2015. Aušra Krasauskaitė- Berulė has taken part in numerous festivals and seminars worldwide (in, among others, the USA, South Korea, China, Iceland, Sweden, Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, and Latvia).
Choreographer Aušra Krasauskaitė-Berulė has directed eight dance performances in several Lithuanian theatres and created choreography for the drama performance Mums viskas gerai (The English title: We are All Good, director Jonas Vaitkus) and the opera Mažvydas (director Kęstutis Jakštas).
In 2018, Aušra Krasauskaitė-Berulė was awarded Golden Cross of the Stage, the most significant performing arts award in Lithuania, and for her dance performance Carmen, she received the Padėkos Kaukė Award given to the best theatre professionals of the Klaipėda City.
