The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre is mourning of professor Virgilijus Noreika

The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre is mourning the loss of professor Virgilijus Noreika, an honorary doctor and former head of the voice department.

Professor Noreika worked at the Academy 1997-2003 and 2014-2016 contributing greatly to the advancement of vocal education in Estonia. His estimable work ethic as well as steadfast professionalism set an excellent example for his peers. To honour his services to Estonia, the Order of the White Star was bestowed on him in 2004.

Our thoughts are with the Lithuanian music and theatre community and we offer our sincerest condolences to the family and those close to professor Noreika.
