Latvian composer Raimonds Pauls will receive the LMTA Honorary Medal

On 22 March the outstanding Latvian composer Raimonds Pauls will receive the Honorary Medal of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.  

Ceremony shall take place in the LMTA Juozas Karosas’ Chamber Hall (Gedimino Ave. 42). It will start at the 10:00.

In the ceremony will take part Raimonds Pauls, LMTA Rector Prof. Zbignevas Ibelgauptas, Chairman of the LMTA Bord Robertas Dargis, Senate members, other honorable guests.

Jazz pianist Prof. Artūras Anusauskas will improvise on the themes of Raimonds Pauls’ music.
