LMTA signed a co-operation agreement with the Conservatory of music in Singapore

The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre has signed a cooperation agreement with the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore. This is a prestigious music conservatory belonging to the National University of Singapore, where world-class professionals teach, including Nobuko Imai, Paul Lewis, Shlomo Mintz, Jorma Panula, András Schiff, Masaaki Suzuki, and Gábor Takács-Nagy.

Next semester, two LMTA students will go to this higher music school for Erasmus studies: Vakarė Taločkaitė (clarinet) and Vasarė Vaičiulytė (piano).

In the future, it is also planned that music students from Singapore will come to study in Vilnius.
