Lina Marija Songailė studied in Italy (Fondazione Accademia Internazionale di Imola “Incontri con il Maestro”), earned her bachelor’s degree in Austria (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz), and was a cum laude graduate of Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana in Lugano (Switzerland) where she followed her master’s studies.

The violinist is a member of Trio Mirage (Austria) and Karalienės Luizės trio (Queen Louise Trio) (Lithuania and Latvia). In 2014–2018, Lina Marija was a member of the Grammy Award-winning Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra founded by legendary violinist Gidon Kremer.
