EOALAB presents: Preview Vilnius
PREVIEW VILNIUS: OPEN EVENTS PROGRAMME
The European Opera Academy – Competence Centre for Shared Education in Opera Training is Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project that aims to trigger innovation in the field of opera based on the innovative concept of shared education and is a platform for numerous activities including teaching and learning.
Five days long intensive courses of EOALB in Experimental Opera Laboratory training, so called EOALAB workshops that strives to contribute to creating the new generation of opera makers. Project intends to offer new answers to the emerging needs of contemporary opera making and to boost creativity, interdisciplinary cooperation and cultural entrepreneurship and, on the larger scale, promote a broader conceptual approach to the opera genre and creative experimentation.
EOALAB workshops, together with open lectures and events take place in different countries under the name of PREVIEW festival:
Maastricht from June 28 to July 2 of 2019
Vilnius from January 19 to 24 of 2020
Porto will be held from July 5 to 9 of 2020
Group of 25 students from all 7 partner HEIs participate in the EOALAB Experimental Opera Laboratory in Vilnius: presentations, workshops, improvisations, rehearsals, performances, opera jams and will discuss about creative laboratory concept and collaborative learning methods with their peers.
