Twenty students and seven teachers participated in this creative laboratory. Electronic and electroacoustic composition, sound and video technology artists and experts will share their experience with students and help them to realize creative ideas. Students learned how to create music for sound sphere combining it with video and thus developing contemporary possibilities of immersive media (360 degree sound and video). Profile of students include composition, sound art, sound design, sound engineering, visual/media art.
The main topic of IMMEDIA – ambisonic format of sound, 360 degree video format and combination of such sound and video in the context of immersive media. Creative experiments and development of creative projects took place in the Julius Juzeliūnas spatial sound sphere of the Music Innovation Studies Centre (MiSC) of the LMTA. In order to present project results to the wider audience, project organizers installed the sound sphere in the larger space – the Grand Hall of the LMTA.
