LMTA Honorary Medals Awarded

During the Senate meeting of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, LMTA Honorary Medals were awarded to pianist Aušra Motuzienė and Professor Juozas Domarkas.

Professor Aušra Motuzienė, of the Department of General Piano and former Dean of the Faculty of Music, received the Honorary Medal in recognition of her active creative and pedagogical work, as well as her many years of dedicated leadership of the LMTA Faculty of Music.

Professor Juozas Domarkas, of the Department of Conducting, was awarded the LMTA Honorary Medal for shaping the national school of symphonic conducting and his outstanding contributions to Lithuanian culture.
