Lithuania extends quarantine until April 13
The quarantine has been extended throughout the territory of the Republic of Lithuania until April 13, 12 a.m.
To protect the health of our students and staff, the on-site study process at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre will be suspended 13-30 March inclusive.
During this period, the studies and work are to be carried out on a remote basis. Lectures, workshops, individual classes, and independent practice of the teachers and students will not take place in the LMTA premises. Depending on the circumstances, the suspension period may be extended.
From 13 March onwards, all events scheduled by the Academy are cancelled. They will be either postponed (if possible) or entirely cancelled.
From 13 March onwards, all staff business trips to foreign countries are cancelled for one month. The suspension period may be extended.
From 16 March onwards, LMTA students and teachers will not be able to work in the library or the reading room.
