RECTOR’S GREETINGS ON INTERNATIONAL MUSIC DAY

Dear staff, students, and alumni of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre!

Today we’re beginning a new chapter in the history of the Academy. In the Rector’s Office, there’s a new team starting to work, looking hopefully to the future and ready to find solutions. We are committed to continuing the work that has been started and finding new opportunities; yet, we cannot do it without the unity of our community members and their will to renew. I invite you to protect and cherish everything that we associate with the name of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, so dear to all of us. To enhance value of this name and promote it worldwide.

I would like to say thank you all for your congratulations and wishes. I expect to receive your support and understanding in tackling everyday problems and your active engagement in the life of the Academy. Let us acknowledge and celebrate the work that has already been accomplished, the achievements of our colleagues and, at the same time, celebrate the festivals that are important to all of us.
