BJARNE MAGNUS JENSEN VIOLIN MASTERCLASS
Bjarne Magnus Jensen is a Norwegian violinist who performs both solo and in chamber ensembles, as well as as an orchestral conductor. Since 2011 the violinist teaches at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
Bjarne Magnus studied in Switzerland at the Bern Higher School of Music and Theater and at the Norwegian Academy of Music in the class of Professor Detlef Hahn. He also worked extensively in the US with the legendary violinist Camilla Wicks.
He is a violinist whose repertoire includes many different styles, including jazz and tango. Bjarne Magnus Jensen has performed in Asia, Africa, South and North America and many European countries, participated in various festivals such as Risør Chamber Music Festival, Bergen International Festival, Oslo Chamber Music Festival, Kyoto International Music Festival, Cervantino Festival in Mexico, etc. Many Norwegian orchestras often invite Jensen as a guest concertmaster.
