ESTEBAN VALVERDE CLARINET MASTERCLASSES 

Esteban Valverde carried out his clarinet studies at the Higher Conservatory of Music in Vigo. He finished his studies with “Honorable Mention”. He perfected his clarinet studies with Alois Brandhofer in the Mozarteum of Salzburg. Since 1992 he has teached clarinet in different conservatories for the Galician Government. He was clarinet teacher and director in Vigo Professional Conservatory from 2003 to 2015. He was advisor for the education government of Galicia from 2008 to 2011.

Since 2015 he has been director and clarinet professor at the Higher Conservatory of Music in Vigo. He has performed with several orchestras in Spain such as the Malaga Symphonic Orchestra and the Barcelona Orchestra. Esteban Valverde has performed in several European (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, etc..) and Asian (China and Kazakhstan) countries and has collaborated with several institutions in clarinet masterclass.

Esteban Valverde plays with brand Selmer “Privilege” clarinets. He is PhD from the University of Vigo. Esteban Valverde is professor “honoris causa” at the National Academy of Music of Ukraine (Kiev), since 2017 – President of the Spanish Clarinet Association.
