Kreete Jacob commenced her horn studies at the age of 11. She went to study at the Heino Eller Tartu Music School (Kaido Otsing class) and at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater (Prof. Kalervo Kulmala class). From 2007 to 2011 she was a member of the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra, and after moving to Germany in 2012 she studied at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts in Germany with Prof. Esa Tapani (BA, 2016) and at the University of Music and Theatre in Munich with Prof. Johannes Hinterholzer (MA, 2021). Kreete was a member of the Baltic Youth Philharmonic from 2011 to 2014, and was an intern with the Stuttgart Philharmonic in 2015 and 2016. Over the years she has played with many ensembles and orchestras in Estonia and abroad, such as the Pärnu City Orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Estonian Festival Orchestra, Bad-Reichenhaller Philharmonie, Stuttgarter Kammerorchester and Camerata Salzburg. Since 2021 she is playing as a solo horn in Vanemuine Theater Symphony orchestra, anf since 2022 teaching horn in Tallinn in Estonian Academy of Music and Theater and in H. Eller Music School in Tartu.
