You will find stands from various institutions where you can find job opportunities or prospects for creative collaboration. Among them are the:

- Lithuanian Authors’ Rights Association (LATGA),
- Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster,
- “Creative Europe” EU Programme Office in Lithuania,
- Klaipėda State Musical Theatre,
- Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra,
- Lithuanian Symphony Wind Orchestra,
- Vilnius Old Theatre,
and other cultural and art institutions. Take the opportunity to ask questions and get advice on career planning!

Stop No. 2 – Forum (LMTA Study Campus Cinema Hall)
Get inspired by listening to the stories of LMTA alumni who have found their success. The forum guests will share tips on how to create jobs for yourself, how to be a business-minded artist and how teamwork can help you achieve your career goals.
At the forum you will hear the following discussions:
“Art Startups. How I created my own path?”
“A content actor: mission (im)possible?”
“A content musician: mission (im)possible?”
“The collective career: shall we create an ensemble?”

If you are an LMTA student or an alumnus who is still looking for your career path, we invite you to use your creative thinking and connect with leading Lithuanian cultural institutions – the National Kaunas Drama Theatre, the Kristupas Festival and the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
What is a hackathon?
This is an intensive, two-day event-game, during which teams of 4-6 people will solve challenges-tasks presented by the institutions and compete, creating innovative and creative solutions.
How will everything take place?
- You will fill out a form and register for the hackathon (you will find the registration here). When registering, you will be able to indicate friends with whom you would like to be on a team.
- You will arrive at the opening of the creative hackathon.
- At the opening, you will meet representatives of the institutions who will present their hackathon challenges.
- You will become part of one of the teams and immerse yourself in creative work, and if you have any questions – our mentors will help you.
- You will prepare your idea and create its presentation.
- You will present your idea to representatives of the institutions.
- You will compete for the main prize of the hackathon – the implementation of your solution together with the authors of the challenge and the budget provided by them!
Whether you are a musician, actor, manager, composer or teacher, your ideas and creativity are the key to solving the most complex challenges!
Institutions and their challenges-tasks of the LMTA Career Days 2025 creative hackathon:
Kristupas Festival
The Kristupas Festival is the largest music event in Vilnius in the summer, which has been taking place every year since 1995 and has been awarded the international quality mark “EFFE Label”. It lasts two summer months (July-August), during which classical, world, inter-genre music sounds for listeners in various spaces of Vilnius, traditional concert cycles are held – “Hours of Sacred Music” and “Kristupas Picnics”.
Challenges-tasks:
- Come up with an idea for a festival event that could take place live and remotely. The event should be adapted to young people and fit their life-rhythm in the summer.
- Create a detailed Kristupas Festival promotion/advertising strategy that:
- would help to present the festival events as easily accessible and attractive to the youth audience.
- would be effective in attracting people to the festival events even before they start.
National Kaunas Drama Theatre | Educational festival “Dive into the Theatre”
The National Kaunas Drama Theatre actively runs the educational festival “Dive into the Theatre”. The aim of this festival is to encourage children and young people to engage in performing arts, educating them and encouraging creative thinking. One of the components of the festival is the “Youth Zone”, which consists of non-traditional format, experimental events and workshops designed exclusively for young people.
Challenge-task:
Create 5-7 activities for the “Youth Zone” that would meet the needs of young people, current topics and a modern lifestyle. Submit a “Youth Zone” publicity plan that would include creative and unusual advertising formats.
Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre
The Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre does not need to be introduced – it is the most famous and largest theatre in Lithuania. Under its “roof” it houses a symphony orchestra, a choir, a troupe of soloists and ballet dancers and is distinguished by a rich repertoire of opera and ballet performances.
Challenge-task
Think of how the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre should communicate and maintain contact with the audience when their Facebook account is temporarily blocked. Create original and long-term solutions that would be practically implemented in 2-4 weeks.
Choose a challenge that interests you, fill out the registration form and test your creativity (you will be able to indicate friends with whom you want to be on a team in the form)!
