NEUROSCIENTIST URTĖ NENIŠKYTĖ’S LECTURE

Neuroscientist Urtė Neniškytė’s lecture – Creative brain

Is it true that left-handed people are more creative? What is more important in creativity: inspiration or
implementation? The creative process integrates our entire brain: from the oldest parts of it to the new cerebral cortex. He includes both higher cognitive functions, emotional drive, and motivation to act. Creativity connects seemingly incompatible modes of our brains: outwardly passive memories
and dreams with active actions to achieve your goals. Recent years of neuroscientific research on inspiration and creativity reveal sometimes unexpected aspects of our brain’s activity and help us understand ourselves better.
