Angelo Cavallo is a laureate of several competitions and currently serves as a dedicated teacher at the “Luca Marenzio” Conservatory of Music in Brescia. Angelo Cavallo won positions as Principal Trumpet of the Cairo Symphony Orchestra (2010) and the Daegu Symphony Orchestra (2014). Today, he is active internationally as a teacher, soloist and orchestral musician. Angelo Cavallo graduated in trumpet in 2004 and obtained a Master of Arts in Music Performance at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana of Lugano in 2011. He studied with renowned masters such as G. Cassone and F. Tamiati and attended masterclasses with A. Vizzutti and J. Lindemann, among others. In 2004, he was awarded the “Premio Rotary Club” for his commitment and moral qualities, and in 2024 he received the Civic Merit “Montis Mensulae” from the Municipality of Montemesola (TA). As a soloist and orchestral musician, Angelo Cavallo has collaborated with prominent international ensembles, including the Haydn Orchestra of Trento and Bolzano, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Parma, the Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, I Virtuosi Italiani, the Orchestra dell’Arena di Verona, the International I.C.O. Orchestra of Magna Grecia, and the Orchestra del Teatro la Fenice of Venice, among others. He has performed under the baton of conductors such as D. Gatti, Y. Temirkanov, A. Lonquich, M-W Chung, and J. Valcuha, and alongside world-renowned artists such as S. Krylov, D. Trifonov, A. Ciccolini, M. Devia, M. Brunello, S. Bollani, and Uto Ughi. He is also the author of over 20 compositions for trumpet, many of which are published. His discography includes:

As an orchestral musician, he has recorded for the Vatican, Rai Uno, Mediaset, RSI Radio della Svizzera Italiana, Preludio Music, Azzurra Music, Milano Dischi, Fluente Records, and other Italian labels. Angelo Cavallo is Principal Cornet of the Hesperia Brass Band and Guest Principal Cornet of the Italian Brass Band. He holds masterclasses and workshops worldwide, sharing his expertise with students and professionals of all levels. Since 2015, he has been the Artistic Director and principal professor of the Italian Trumpet Academy. From 2019 on, he has been teaching in various Italian conservatories and, by 2022, he holds the position of professor of trumpet at the “L. Marenzio” Conservatory of Music in Brescia. Angelo Cavallo is a BUFFET CRAMPON Artist and plays B&S, Antoine Courtois, Besson, Scherzer instruments, and Maximal mouthpieces.
