INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM IMPACT 2025: IMPROVISATION AND CREATIVITY AND RESEARCH-BASED EDUCATION IN PERFORMING ARTS
On December 3–6, 2025, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre will host the third international IMPACT symposium, this year dedicated to creative collaborations and improvisation in the performing arts. The theme of the event — “Creative Collaborations: Improvising the Unknown” — invites researchers, artists, and educators to explore creativity and improvisation from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The IMPACT network examines the intersections of creativity and improvisation, fostering dialogue across music, theatre, dance, media, and artistic research. The 2025 symposium will focus on collaborative creative practices and the improvisation of the unknown. The programme will feature presentations by international scholars and artists, interdisciplinary research contributions, and an Experimental Creative Laboratory showcasing live improvisational artistic experiments.
The event is open to all listeners.
