Juozas Karosas Hall

The Juozas Karosas Hall (Gedimino Ave. 42, Vilnius) is another, smaller LMTA concert venue, featuring good acoustics, a cabinet piano (Yamaha C3) and organ (Pirchner) and can seat an audience of up to 110 people. There you can enjoy chamber and organ music evenings and jazz concerts, or attend book presentations, dissertation defence ceremonies, masterclasses and other events. Senate meetings take place there too. In 2008, the hall was named after the composer Juozas Karosas to commemorate an outstanding example of patronage; Saulius Karosas, the composer’s grandson, gave Pirchner organ to the academy as a gift.
