Music Innovation Studies Centre (MiSC)
Music Innovation Studies Centre (MiSC) was established in 2010 as part of the project for the development and renovation of technological and informational infrastructure for creative and cultural industry studies and research, as well as artistic practice in Lithuania, with partial support of European structural funding.
MiSC focuses on the development and implementation of new technologies for music creation, performance, and distribution, as well as the exploration of their potential artistic and educational applications. The center works with a range of national and international partners, including artists, educators, researchers, and industry professionals, to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
The center is staffed by experts in music technology, sound engineering, programming, and media engineering, who work together to develop new tools and technologies for music creation and performance. MiSC also offers educational programs and workshops, as well as a range of research and development projects, to support the advancement of music technology and innovation.
