Competition repertoire

I round 
1. Baroque composition (or a movement) 
2. Virtuoso piece 
3. Modern miniature 
The total duration of the I round program must not exceed 25 min.

II round 
Free-choice program. The pieces performed in the I round can not be repeated. The total duration of the II round program must be 10-15 min.

One piece composed by a composer from the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia) is obligatory (in any round)

The on-line application must be submitted by November 17th, 2022 only after passing the pre-selection at the local higher institution.

  1. The competition will take place in two rounds and pre-selection (organized by local higher institution). 
  2. The order of performances of the contestants is determined by the registration number. 
  3. All the pieces must be performed by memory (except sonatas and music written after 1980). 
  4. The performances of the contestants will be evaluated by an international Jury. 
  5. If the performance surpasses the indicated time limit, the Jury is entitled to interrupt the performance. 
  6. The contestants must perform musical pieces indicated in the application form. If there are any deviations from the program, Jury is entitled not to evaluate the performance. 
  7. All the decisions of the Jury are final and not subject to appeal. 
  8. The Jury will award diplomas to the winners. 
  9. The competitors shall cover their own travel and accommodation costs. The organisers can assist with information on reasonably priced accommodation. 
  10. The Competition organisers will provide professional accompanists for all competitors, on request, for an additional fee.
    The fee for two 40-minute rehearsals (I and II round pieces), acoustic rehearsal and performance in I round is 90 euros. Additional 30 eur must be paid for the performance in II round. The participants who need a pianist companion have to send one copy of the score (PDF) by 10th November 2022 and have to indicate it in the application (styginiukatedra@gmail.com).  
  11. Before the performance the Participants must register in person at the Competition Office (Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Building 2 (Congress) (Tilto 16/Vilniaus 6-2, Vilnius). 
  12. Lithuanian text takes precedence over this translation in any dispute concerning interpretation of the Competition rules.

bakalauro ir magistrantūros studentai

Konkurso programa

I turas 
1. Baroko epochos kūrinys arba jo dalis/dalys 
2. Virtuozinis kūrinys 
3. Moderni miniatiūra 
Bendra I turo trukmė neturi viršyti 25 min.

II turas 
Laisva programa. Kūriniai, atlikti I ture negali būti kartojami. II turo trukmė – 10-15 min. 

Į programą privaloma įtraukti vieną Baltijos šalių (Lietuvos, Latvijos arba Estijos) kompozitoriaus kūrinį (I arba II ture)

  1. Konkursas vyks dviem turais.
  2. Konkurso dalyvių pasirodymų eilės tvarka nustatoma pagal registracijos numerį.
  3. Visi kūriniai atliekami mintinai (išskyrus kamerines sonatas ir muziką, parašytą po 1980 metų).
  4. Konkurso dalyvių pasirodymus vertins tarptautinė vertinimo komisija.
  5. Vertinimo komisija turi teisę nutraukti pasirodymą atlikėjui viršyjus nustatytą laiko limitą.
  6. Dalyviai privalo atlikti kūrinius, nurodytus dalyvio paraiškoje. Kitu atveju konkurso komisija turi teisę nevertinti dalyvio pasirodymo.
  7. Vertinimo komisijos sprendimai yra galutiniai ir neapskundžiami.
  8. Konkurso nugalėtojai apdovanojami laureatų diplomais.
  9. Kelionės ir maitinimo išlaidas apsimoka patys dalyviai.
  10. Prieš pasirodymą dalyviai turi atvykti ir užsiregistruoti konkurso sekretoriate (Lietuvos muzikos ir teatro akademija, II (Kongresų) rūmų (Tilto g. 16/Vilniaus g. 6-2, Vilnius).
  11. Kilus neaiškumams dėl konkurso salygų, pagrindiniu laikomas tekstas lietuvių kalba.
