Master Application

ADDITIONAL ADMISSION TO MASTER’S STUDIES 2026

Additional admission is organised only for study programmes and specialisations with vacant study places remaining after the main admission round.
Applications open on 20 July 2026 and must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the beginning of the relevant entrance examination.
Please check the list of study programmes and specialisations available during the additional admission round before submitting your application.


1 STEP: APPLICATION

Applicants eligible to participate in the Lithuanian centralised admission process, including citizens of the European Union and the European Economic Area and their family members, must complete and submit an online application through the LAMA BPO admission system.
Eligible applicants may compete for state-funded and self-funded study places in accordance with Lithuanian legislation.

Applicants who are not eligible for state-funded studies may apply for self-funded study places.
The online application must be completed and all required documents must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the relevant entrance examination.

You will need to submit:

  • the online application form through the centralised admission system;
  • the entrance examination programme form, where required for a remote entrance examination;
  • a copy of your passport or identity card;
  • copies of your Bachelor’s diploma and its supplement;
  • an official translation of the educational documents into Lithuanian or English, if the original documents were issued in another language;
  • a decision on the academic recognition of your Bachelor’s qualification issued by LMTA or the Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education;
  • proof of English language proficiency of at least B1 level when applying to a study programme taught in English, for example TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English, LanguageCert or Duolingo English Test;
  • proof of Lithuanian language proficiency at the level required for the chosen study programme when applying to studies taught in Lithuanian;
  • a receipt confirming payment of the admission fee;
  • documents confirming a change of name or surname, where applicable.

The academic recognition decision must be submitted before the list of applicants invited to study is announced.
Remote participation in an entrance examination is possible only where indicated in the entrance examination timetable or individually approved by LMTA.


2 STEP: ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS

Entrance examinations for the additional admission round will take place on 17–19 August 2026.
Examinations are organised at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre or remotely where this is indicated in the entrance examination timetable.

Applicants who successfully pass all parts of the entrance examination will participate in the competition for the remaining study places. Candidates will be ranked according to their admission scores.
Entrance examination results will be announced no later than 48 hours after all examinations in the relevant field of study have been completed.
Appeals concerning technical errors or procedural violations must be submitted in writing within 24 hours after the examination results are announced.
Invitations to study will be announced on 21 August 2026 by 3:00 p.m.
Electronic study agreements with applicants invited to study must be concluded on 24–25 August 2026.


Scholarships for Full-Time Master Degree Studies

Funding under the 2026 Call will be provided to the citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, China (People’s Republic of China and Taiwan), Georgia, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Ukraine, The United States of America, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin of non-EU and non-EFTA countries, 70 grants in total (monthly scholarships and grants covering the study cost).
