September 2 – Information Day for first-year students
September 2–5 – Scheduling of individual lessons
October 27 – November 7 – Mid-term assessments of the Autumn semester
November 4–15* – Planned Symphony Orchestra session for Music Performance study programme students
November 12–19* – Planned Big Band session for Jazz Department students
November 24–29* – Planned Orchestra session for Wind and Percussion Instruments Department students
December 3–14 – Registration of students for elective courses at Vilnius University (VU) for the Spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year
December 24 – January 4 – Christmas and New Year holidays (independent work and self-study period)
January 5–30 – Autumn semester examination session
January 26–30 – Period for elimination of academic debts from the Autumn semester examination session
January 19–23 – Registration of students for elective courses at LMTA and Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) for the Spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
SPRING semester
February 2 – Beginning of the Spring semester
February 2–6 – Additional registration of students for remaining vacant places in elective courses at LMTA, Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) and Vilnius University (VU) for the Spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year
March 16–21* – Planned Orchestra session for Wind and Percussion Instruments Department students
March 17–26* – Planned Big Band session for Jazz Department students
April 3–6 – Easter holidays for students (independent work and self-study period)

Period for completion of Spring semester course assessments, elimination of academic debts, and fulfilment of programme differences for graduating students

May 4–29 – Final thesis defence session for graduating students
May 25 – June 19 – Spring semester examination session
June 15–19 – Period for elimination of academic debts from the Spring semester examination session
June 19–30 – Planned Bachelor’s and Master’s diploma awarding ceremonies
