June 15–19 – Student registration for elective courses at Vilnius University (VU) for the Autumn semester of the 2026–2027 academic year
August 25–28 – Registration of students for elective courses at LMTA and Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) for the Autumn semester of the 2026–2027 academic year
AUTUMN semester
September 1 – Beginning of the Autumn semester
September 1–6 – Registration of first-year students for elective courses at Vilnius University (VU) for the Autumn semester of the 2026–2027 academic year, and additional registration of senior students for the remaining available places in VU elective courses for the Autumn semester of the 2026–2027 academic year
September 2 – Information Day for first-year students
September 2–8 – Scheduling of individual lessons
October 26 – November 7 – Mid-term assessments of the Autumn semester
November 3–13* – Planned Symphony Orchestra session for Music Performance study programme students
December 21 – January 1 – Christmas and New Year holidays (independent work and self-study period)
January 4–23 – Autumn semester examination session
January 18–22 – Registration of students for elective courses at LMTA, Vilnius University (VU) and Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) for the Spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year
January 25–30 – Period for elimination of academic debts from the Autumn semester examination session
SPRING semester
February 1 – Beginning of the Spring semester
February 1–5 – Additional registration of students for the remaining available places in elective courses at LMTA, Vilnius Academy of Arts (VDA) and Vilnius University (VU) for the Spring semester of the 2026–2027 academic year
March 26–31 – Easter holidays for students (independent work and self-study period)
March 22 – April 3* – Planned Symphony Orchestra session for Music Performance study programme students
April 5–24 – Mid-term assessments of the Spring semester.
Period for completion of Spring semester course assessments, elimination of academic debts, and fulfilment of programme differences for graduating students
May 3–28 – Final thesis defence session for graduating students**
May 24 – June 12 – Spring semester examination session
June 14–19 – Period for elimination of academic debts from the Spring semester examination session
June 21–30 – Planned Bachelor’s and Master’s diploma awarding ceremonies
June 14 – August 31 – Summer holidays for students

* Preliminary dates may change.
** Students in lower-year courses who participate in the assessments or final project defences of graduating students are likewise evaluated, and it is duly recorded that they have successfully completed the relevant course examination or credit requirement.
