The LMTA has joined Nordplus programme in 2008. Since then the Academy cooperates with Nordic/Baltic academies in a number of genre based networks.

Nordtrad (traditional music),
Nordic/Baltic Music Therapy Education,
NNME (music education),
Percussion plus (Nordplus horizontal network).
How to apply:
LMTA is part of the AEC Application project called EASY, and prefer to receive applications through this system. Follow this link to write and submit your application: https://aec.dreamapply.com/. We prefer to receive all applications through EASY.
Your preliminary study plan should be indicated in your application form. We recommend you to read information about the courses offered at the LMTA in relation to your study programme and your study cycle on our website, Course Catalogue. Exchange students may select up to 30 ECTS for the semester and up to 60 ECTS for the whole academic year. For more information about your study plan, courses and credits please consul student exchange coordinator.
NB! Learning Agreement should be prepared and sent to us only after confirmation of acceptance with all the signatures required.
The List of Elective Courses taught in english language could be found here. It is possible to take elective courses from our partner institutions Vilnius university, Lithuanian Sports university and Vilnius Fine Arts academy as well.
Deadlines for Nordplus applications are:
- 15th of May for the Autumn Semester or for all academic year;
- 15th of November for Spring Semester.

Students, who want to apply for a study period at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre as Nordplus exchange students should contact LMTA International Relations Office coordinator Giedrė Antanavičienė – firstname.lastname@example.org.
Those who would like to choose short study period (from 1 week to 1 month) should contact coordinator not less than 3 months before expected study period.
