Vilnius Transport

Public buses and trolleybuses run from around 5am until midnight. Information about schedules can be found at bus and trolleybus stops and online at www.judu.lt. 

Students are advised to buy a monthly ticket as it has a significant discount for LSIC and/or ISIC card holders. These can be purchased at “Lietuvos spauda” press kiosks and „Narvesen“ shops and in apps Trafi, m.Ticket. More information on the ticket system is at www.vilniustransport.lt.

The public transport apps Trafi and m.Ticket will help you to plan your journey in real time – and it works even without the internet.

*NB! Don’t forget to validate your ticket on the bus or trolleybus. Vilnius is known for its strict ticket checkers (Keleivių kontrolė). 

If you’re in a hurry, you can always take a taxi, which tends to be cheaper if you order one by phone or through an app such as Bolt, Uber or other.
